On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Kuwait Robot Center, MILSET Asia affirmed that the center\u2014established in 2002 through a joint initiative between the Kuwait Ministry of Education and the MILSET Asia Office\u2014is the first specialized robotics training center in the Gulf region. It stands as a significant national effort to enhance students\u2019 knowledge in industrial development and scientific specialization.<\/p>\n
Dawood Al-Ahmad, Regional Director of MILSET Asia, emphasized the center\u2019s impact in delivering advanced robotics programs for students across all educational levels. These initiatives focus on self-paced and extracurricular learning, offering training in programming, mechanics, welding, and electronics\u2014equipping students with practical skills and preparing them for international competitions.<\/p>\n
Over two decades, the center has achieved notable success in regional and global events, including first-place awards at the Arab Robotics Competition in Jordan, and five medals at the World Robot Olympiad in Bucharest, Romania\u2014where it competed among 600 participants from 48 countries. The center also hosted the first Arab robotics competition and the first Gulf robotics workshop in 2004.<\/p>\n
